    Frequently asked questions

How do I convert JPG to PDF?

Drop your images, drag them into the order you want, choose a page size, and click Create PDF. The PDF is built in your browser.

Is this JPG to PDF converter free?

Yes — free, no signup, no watermark, no limit on the number of images.

Do I have to upload my images?

No. The PDF is assembled on your device by a JavaScript library. Open developer tools, watch the Network tab, and convert a file — you won’t see an upload request.

    Are my images private?

Yes. They never leave your device.

Can I mix JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF in one PDF?

Yes. Drop any combination — each image becomes its own page, and formats can be mixed freely.

Can I control the page size and margins?

Yes. Choose Fit to image (the page matches the image’s own proportions), or a standard size such as A4 or US Letter, and set margins if you want a border around the image.

    Does it reduce image quality?

By default each image is placed at its original resolution. Choosing A4 or US Letter adds white space around the image rather than cropping it, so nothing is cut off. Very large images will make the PDF large — compress it afterwards if size matters.

Can I add a password to the PDF?

Not in this tool. This creates an unencrypted PDF. Encrypting a PDF is a separate operation and isn’t part of the first set of tools here.

How many images can I combine?

There’s no fixed limit — the constraint is your device’s memory. A few dozen phone photos is routine; hundreds of large images may be slow.

Do I need an account, and is there a watermark?

No account and no watermark. The PDF is plain and unmarked, with no added pages or branding.

Images vs PDF — and when to convert

Here is what each format is for, and when converting JPG images to PDF is the right move.

What is Images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF)?

A photo’s appearance depends on the app showing it: it can be resized, cropped or rotated without warning, and which viewer is “right” is anyone’s guess.

    What is PDF?

A PDF page is fixed — it looks the same on your screen, the recipient’s screen and the printer. That reliability is why forms, portals and bureaucracies ask for PDFs, and why turning images into one is the standard workaround.

    When you need it

Convert images to PDF when you’re filing a scanned receipt, uploading ID photos to a portal that accepts a single file, sending a set of product shots to a client, or turning phone photos of a document into one clean file. Because a browser can embed images into a PDF directly, none of this requires an upload.
