Merge PDF — combine PDFs in order

Drop your PDF files here

or click to browse — add two or more files to merge

No PDFs yet. Add two or more files to merge.

Reorder any file with the ↑↓ buttons before merging. Pages appear in the order shown.

    How to merge PDF files

    1. Add your PDF files

Drop two or more PDFs onto the drop area, or click to browse. Each file appears in the list below.

    2. Arrange the order

Use the up and down buttons to set the order the documents should appear in. The first file becomes the first pages of the merged PDF.

    3. Merge and download

Click Merge PDF. The pages are combined in your browser and the finished document is ready to download — nothing was uploaded.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I merge PDF files?

Drop two or more PDFs onto the page, set the order with the ↑↓ buttons, and click Merge. The combined file downloads from your browser.

    Is this PDF merger free?

Yes — free, no signup, no watermark, and no limit on how many files you combine.

Do I have to upload my PDFs?

No. The merge is done in your browser by a JavaScript PDF library, on page objects it reads from your own disk. For contracts, tax forms, and medical documents this matters: open developer tools, watch the Network tab, and you’ll see no upload request.

    Are my documents private?

Yes. They never leave your device, so we have no copy to store, log, or hand over.

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

There is no fixed limit. The real ceiling is your device’s memory — merging a few dozen typical documents is comfortable; hundreds of large scanned files will slow down or fail.

    Does merging reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable, links keep working, and vector graphics stay vectors. Nothing is rasterized or re-compressed.

    Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not while they are locked. An encrypted PDF cannot be read without its password, so decrypt it first, then merge.

Can I change the page order after merging?

Set the order before you merge — that’s what the ↑↓ buttons are for. If you need to rearrange pages afterwards, split the merged file and merge again in the new order.

Do I need an account or email address?

No. Nothing to sign up for, no email required.

Does it add a watermark or a cover page?

No. The output is exactly the pages you supplied, in the order you set — no watermark, no inserted pages, no branding.

    Why merge PDF files

Here is what each format is for, and when converting several PDFs into one document is the right move.

    What is PDF?

PDF (Portable Document Format) keeps a document’s layout identical on every device. It is the standard for contracts, invoices, reports and scanned paperwork, which is why so many tasks end up with several PDFs that belong together.

    What is Merged PDF?

A merged PDF is a single document containing the pages of two or more PDFs in the order you choose. It is easier to send, print and archive than a folder of separate files.

    When you need it

Merge PDFs whenever you need to combine a signed contract with its appendix, join scanned pages into one file, assemble a report from separate chapters, or upload a single PDF to a portal that accepts only one file.
