Will bookmarks, form fields and metadata survive?
Not necessarily. Reversing rebuilds the PDF by copying pages into a new document, and page-copy operations can drop interactive form fields, bookmarks/outline entries and some metadata. Check the result before relying on it.
Does reversing re-render or compress the pages?
No. Pages are copied as-is and only their order changes — text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.
What about scanned or password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted (password-protected) PDFs are rejected up front — the tool does not ask for or handle passwords. Scanned pages reverse fine, since they are just pages like any other.
What are the limits?
